Taylor Swift Grammys 2014 Makeup

Taylor Swift Grammys 2014 Makeup

I’m sure you all know the Grammy’s were on earlier this week so now we need to brace ourselves, the Grammy tutorials are coming. There were three ladies that caught my eye – Katy Perry and Beyonce (love her hair!) but it was Taylor Swift that really blew me away. First of all that. Gucci. dress. I mean, it was stunning. Seriously, it’s exactly the kind of wedding dress I want. Anyone got a spare one they’d be willing to donate?

Her makeup was also quite lovely; rather than going down the classic metallic smokey eye route her makeup artist incorporated a pop of blue liner and it really lifts the whole look. It was quite refreshing to see some colour, albeit a teeny-tiny bit, is it just me or has the makeup this awards season been soooooo booooring? I love natural makeup, don’t get me wrong, but come on! I’d settle for a smokey eye here!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my take on Taylor Swift’s Grammy makeup, it’s a very easy pretty look to recreate and if you have small eyes it will really help to open them up. Who was your favourite look of the night?

  1. I can’t stand Taylor Swift or her music…I’m talkin’ extreme dislike here. However, I have to admit that the woman is ALWAYS flawlessly styled. She looks beautiful and always in a very tasteful way. Also, I’m in loooooove with Beyonce’s new hairstyle. It’s refreshing that we’re starting to see women in Hollywood with very natural hairstyles–short crops, natural curls, and for goodness sake, no hair extensions. (I’m lookin’ at you, Lupita Nyong’o and Jennifer Lawrence, you red carpet darlings you.)

Thanks, Sharon! Keep it up. I love your work. :) Xx
